Traveled up to Waimea Canyon one day.
Had the good fortune to be invited to attend an old friend of the family's wedding. Tom's best friend from Hilltop (Nate) was wed to his lovely bride Sequoia at the top of Waimea Canyon.
Us with Nate's mom, Karen.
Nate with proud Mom and Grand.
Lastly some coastal scenes from here in Poipu.
Sailing outrigger canoe.

Just hanging out at the pool the other day, I took a moment to appreciate some of the "plantings" around the area. Just one of the reasons we keep coming back:
And, of course, there are our "other" friends.
And loud frogs keep you up at night.
Spam Jam in Waikiki
When in Hawaii, always try to take in the local culture. Spam Jam, 2023 was held on Saturday afternoon blocking off several blocks of Kalakaoa Ave on Waikiki. In case you were un-aware, SPAM is very popular here in Hawaii.
You can eat, of course. Here are tubs full of Spam Musubi (fried spam slice, surrounded by sushi rice, and wrapped in a Nori wrapper).
You can purchase your commemorative merch: T-shirts, hats, hoodies..
You can have your local beverage. (Not SPAM flavored by the way.)
We chose to host the boys for supper at our Condo.
Illikai Marina Condo - Waikiki Beach, Honolulu
